Emily Miranda, Mentor Coach, ESC/district
Emily has played a huge role in making sure I feel comfortable in my new position. She goes above and beyond checking in with the team to see how things are going daily. A great example of this is our new teacher institute. She coordinates the institute and helps all new teachers feel welcome. I know this requires a lot of work and organization.
Mentor coaches are in charge of mentor modules and Emily coordinates the modules- doing all the behind-the-scenes work to ensure that it runs smoothly. Another great example of her being BOLD is her assistance with new mentor coaches. I’ve had a lot of questions throughout my new position and she always responds in a timely manner, reassuring me that I’m asking good questions and intentionally validating my concerns. I’m sure she has no idea how much this means to me and all of the other mentor coaches.
