Ms. Stefl has been a one-on-one para for a Deaf Plus (deaf with other disabilities) student for a few years. Her patience, signing ability, language modeling, and other skills have helped this student to flourish and spend more time in the general education setting.
She creates a learning environment that is stable and unique for this student’s needs. They are a great match! She has a YES attitude and genuinely cares about ALL students. Ms. Stefl has been teaching other students and staff to sign and helps them create relationships with her students.
