What happens with third quarter grades since schools closed six days short of finishing the quarter?
Students will end Quarter 3 with the grade they had on March 13, the last school day prior to school closure. There will be no additional assignments required or graded for Quarter 3. However, we will allow students to submit any missing assignments for work due PRIOR to spring break anytime through Tuesday, May 5. In that way, students’ grades can only be improved, never decreased.
After May 5, Quarter 3 will be “closed;” however, if a student is not able to complete/submit missing work prior to May 5 due to lack of technology access or other COVID-19 related issues, he/she can submit those missing assignments anytime prior to August 28 and we will adjust his/her grades for Quarter 3.
