Voluntary Transfer Forms Now Available
Voluntary Transfer Forms for Waterloo Schools middle and high schools are now available for the 2012-13 school year. Forms can be filled out online or picked up at the schools or the Student Services office at the Education Service Center. All applications must be received by June 1st, 2012.
All applications for Voluntary Transfer will be reviewed and parents will be notified by mail prior to the beginning of the 2012/2013 school year.
The Voluntary Transfer Program allows parents to transfer their student within the Waterloo School District based on guidelines that have been set by the Board of Education. The only Voluntary Transfers allowed at the high school level will be from West High into East High due to building capacity limits. Voluntary Transfer approvals will be based on the number of spaces available by grade at the school requested and the overall enrollment capacity.
Entering Buildings with Raptor
Raptor Visitor Monitoring System To keep our students and staff safe, the District has installed a new check-in procedure using the Raptor Visitor Management System. All visitors will need to show a government issued ID to enter buildings. Raptor Procedures , Raptor Press Release, and Raptor FAQ .
