We offer health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans to full-time employees. All employees are eligible to participate in the TelaDoc program.
Dental Insurance – Delta Dental Website
Each full-time employee shall be provided at the District’s expense a single dental insurance plan. Family dental insurance shall be available for employee to purchase subject to carrier approval.
Life Insurance
Each full-time employee shall be covered by a term life insurance program paid for by the District which provides a minimum death benefit of $10,000.00. Such insurances shall also provide double indemnity for accidental death. The employee at his option may, through payroll deduction, subscribe to additional life insurance coverage for amounts no less than $10,000.00. Additional amounts may be available depending on the carrier.
Long-term Disability
Each full-time employee shall be provided at the District’s expense long-term disability insurance protection.
Health – Health Partners Website
Each full-time employee shall be provided at the District’s expense a single comprehensive major medical program with copayments for office visits in network, deductibles, coinsurance of 20% in network/30% out of network, prescription drug benefits, and out of pocket maximums. The deductible will be waived for physician office services from a preferred provider. (The level of benefits shall be established by Health Partners.)
The District will make a contribution per month beyond single coverage towards family insurance benefits.
Employees desiring to change from one option to another may do so by contacting the Benefits Coordinator prior to or during the open enrollment period. The open enrollment period starts in November of each year.

Vision – Avesis Website
The District offers two Avesis vision plans for employees. Each plan is voluntary, and available at the employee’s expense.
The first plan available provides coverage for an annual eye exam and hardware. The hardware includes lenses every 12 months, frames every 24 months and contact lenses every 12 months. The second plan available provides coverage for the hardware only.
An annual routine eye exam is covered under the Health Partners plans.
The monthly premium payments will be payroll deducted on a pre-tax basis.

Worker’s Compensation
Each employee of the District is covered by worker’s compensation if injured on the job. The District agrees to pay each employee the difference between the amount worker’s compensation pays and his normal salary on a per diem basis. The portion which the District pays shall be charged against the employee’s sick leave on a prorated basis.
