Welcome to Kittrell Elementary home of the Cougars! There are currently over 600 Pre-K through 5th grade students that call Kittrell home. We are proud of all of our students and their hard work and dedication to our school.

Mission Statement

The mission statement of Kittrell Elementary School is to empower, encourage, and engage. 

Cedar Valley Career Connections and Junior Achievement have partnered to organize a Career Day at Kittrell Elementary on May 4.  We want to check to see if families of Kittrell students would be available to speak to students about their career.  Students in K-2nd will hear from speakers from 9:30-11am (careers focused on service will be showcased, but any career is welcome) and 3rd-5th from 1:30-3pm(careers focused on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) will be featured but any career is welcome).  If you want to learn more, or wish to sign up, please email Carrie Pontzius at Junior Achievement ([email protected]) by April 20 – there are limited spots available.   Please keep in mind, this is a show and tell presentation, we would like the speakers to be able to speak to students in K-5th grade and provide a demonstration or hands on application to intensify the experiences for the students.   You will speak to 3 different groups of student – each group is with you for about 20-25 minutes and then they rotate.  Thank you for your continued support!
