2025 Important Senior Dates
2025 Important Dates for Seniors
April 1,2: Senior Meeting regarding graduation – April 5 (Last Name A-L) and April 6 (Last Name M-Z) in the Auditorium.
April 14: Diploma names posted outside of Counseling Services. Verify your correct name.
April 16: Speech Outlines Due: Seniors who wish to speak at Commencement need to give speech outlines to Counseling Services. Valedictorian, Student Body President, and one other student will give speeches.
April 17: Last day to verify your correct name for diplomas. See Denise in the Counseling Office for changes!
April 25: Last day to pay fines and fees by check. If your parents/guardians have an Auto Replenish option for lunches through the RevTrack, please turn it off.
April 25: Deadline to submit Senior Honors Program information. Must be sent via email to Kisha Smith, School Counselor: [email protected] – must include scholarship name and total amount of award – type “Honors Assembly” in the subject area.
May 1: First Official graduation list posted. The first official graduation list will be posted outside the Counseling Services Office. To be on the list, students must be passing all classes needed to graduate, have all fines and fees paid, have all detention served, have completed all online courses and have any necessary outside credits complete. If you have questions as to why you are not on the list, please see your School Counselor.
May 8: Updated Official Graduation List posted.
May 9: 12:30 PM – Senior Honors Program in West High Auditorium
May 15: Updated Official Graduation List posted.
May 21 and 22: Senior Final Exams (schedule to be announced by individual teachers). May 22: Updated Official Graduation List posted.
May 22: Cap & Gown distribution. Caps & gowns will be handed out during all three lunch shifts in Counseling Services. Students must have their name on the Official Graduation List to receive their cap and gown.
May 22: 3:00 PM – Deadline to have names included in the ceremony program. The final list of names will be submitted for printing. Students must be on the Official Graduation List at this time to have their names in the commencement program.
May 23: Last day of school for seniors. Crossing the stage run-through in West Auditorium.

- THIS IS REQUIRED!
May 27: 12:00 PM – Deadline to have all graduation requirements completed to walk in graduation ceremony.
May 28: Mandatory commencement practice at McLeod Center-9:00 AM (8:50 Arrival) Students must attend entire practice in order to participate in Commencement. Emergencies or unusual circumstances that prevent a senior from attending practice must be cleared with Dr. Miehe. Being scheduled for work or having an appointment are not acceptable reasons for missing rehearsal or
leaving early.

5:45 PM – Graduates not in line at this time will not be in the ceremony. 6:00 PM – Commencement Processional begins
